The Remarkables


For a while that’s how things stood. From time to time I ran into kids who were, for whatever reason, simply not going to school. They had in fact given up on the Japanese educational stew. Some of these remarkable (and remarkably brave) kids stayed over at my home. Today such kids number perhaps one million, and all refusing!

So the guys and gals were making their own alternate clubs and schools, like the state not offering any other route. Clearly what this mass of Youth needed was a valid, recognized alternative, but again, what?
