There is an ancient native legend that speaks of during a time of imminent threat to all native Peoples, “Hope would come from land of the polar bear.” So it was that in January, of the year 2001(23rd) that an ex-SAS, John Bitters, made the last determined action of the 20th Century. He succeeded in this endeavour by parachuting onto Point Barrow’s Jumper DZ. In his kit he carried a draft copy of ‘Hope - From the Land of the Polar Bear.’ This is the basis of the unfolding blog.
